The German company CNC-STEP GmbH & Co. KG CNC Maschinenbau was founded in 2005 by Frank Hylewicz. The headquarter is in Geldern am Niederrhein in Germany.

CNC-STEP designs and manufactures high-quality CNC portal milling machines, engraving machines and corresponding accessories and software. The most popular product is the High-Z series of CNC machines, with more than 9,000 units sold.
